Goaley Privacy Policy
This policy covers the Goaley app for iPhone, built by Swapnanil Dhol.
Summary
Goaley does not require an account and does not sell your data. Your goals and contributions stay on your devices and in your own iCloud account.
Your goals and contributions
Goals, contributions, photos you attach to goals, and settings are stored on your device. If iCloud sync is on, they are also stored in your private iCloud database so they sync across your devices. We cannot see or access your iCloud data.
Apple Intelligence features
Smart features run with Apple Intelligence, either on your device or on Apple’s Private Cloud Compute. Your data is not sent to our servers or to any other AI provider.
Currency exchange rates
To convert between currencies, Goaley downloads daily reference rates from the European Central Bank. No personal data is sent with this request.
Notifications
Reminders for planned contributions are scheduled locally on your device.
Purchases
Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to verify purchase status using an anonymous app user ID. We never receive your payment details.
Analytics
Goaley uses Firebase Analytics and Mixpanel to understand which features are used and to find problems. These events are tied to anonymous identifiers and do not include your goal names, amounts, or notes.
Feedback
If you send feedback from the app, we receive your message, basic device and app version details, and an anonymous installation ID, plus your email address only if you choose to include it. We use this only to respond and to fix problems.
Children
Goaley is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your choices
You can delete goals at any time in the app. Deleting the app removes its local data; data synced to iCloud can be removed in your iPhone’s Settings under your Apple Account, iCloud, Manage Storage. To ask about or delete any feedback you sent, email us.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
